Anne's right, Thomas...that's what I would try next...now that I understand
better what's going on, I think her advice *should* fix it....before I
thought you meant ALL of your sent emails were going to a certain
folder...but if it is messages you are sending from within one folder,
Anne's suggestion should do the trick

Hi Thomas
This is a optional standard setting for outgoing emails - will normally
move anything sent from anywhere other than the Inbox into the same folder
once it's sent. If you reply to something in your Inbox the reply stays
in Sent Items. If you reply to something in your *MSO* folder then it
goes from Outbox back to *MSO*.
If you don't want this to run in this fashion go to Tools> Options>
Preferences: Email Options> Advanced Email Options and uncheck the box
that says "In folders other than Inbox, save replies with original
message".
I personally love this feature, couldn't live without it!
