Linda, will get back to you after I finish this project about the 
brackets thing, I was obvously doing something wrong.

However, client has a wierd request for formatting of numbers...

He wants a null field to have a - in it (which is easy) however, he ALSO 
wants to display the figures (if they exist) in comma separated format 
i.e. 50,000 in lieu of 50000     , any ideas on this format situation??

Been a long time since I have worked this size sheet, grin it's over 3 
meg in size and he does not want a database, wants it in spreadsheet.
