Can you post a table in email of what your data looks like?

I'm afraid that doesn't change the result of 1

not sure if it matters much but replace the 0 with false

=vlookup("Honda",D4:H19,5,False)

I have a table with 15 motorcycle names in column D and the number sold
in
column H.
In a cell elsewhere on the spreadsheet, I want to show the number of
Hondas
sold and think I need VLOOKUP but it don't get the correct result, 7,
with
=VLOOKUP("Honda",D4:H19,5,0), I get 1.
