Graham - the other approach, besides the PivotTable (which can give you a
breakdown by model number as well), you can use the SUMIF function.  I am
assuming that you want to have a count of all the different manufacturers.
You can have a column that contains the mfg names (Q99:Q105 for example) and
then use the SUMIF(D4:D23, $Q99, H4:H23) formula in the R99 cell and copy it
down to R105.  This will then give you sum of the quantity that you want.

If you only want the sum for a single mfg, then just enter the mfg name in
Q99 and the formula will give you the total.
