I believe the following equation would work if the data was in cell A2.
Modify as necessary.
=3DMID(A2,FIND("4",A2),18)

Is there an Excel function to look at the information in a cell and when =
it
finds a 4, extract the next 18 characters (including the 4 as character
1) into a new cell? So for instance, if I had a cell that said 02 A =
Report
04000-2005A12345678 signature, it would look in that cell for the number =
4
and when it finds the number 4 returns the next 18 characters (4 being =
the
first of the 18 characters). So I would get 4000-2005A12345678 as the
result of the formula or function?
