Robert,
When I put your data into Excel cell B1 returns 5, the length of the number
that represents the number of days (37781) since 1st Jan 1900

Subject: [mso] Excel 2000 date question
Suppose A1 contains:
09-Jun-03
Which is a date for June 9, 2003. If I put in cell B1 this formula:
=LEN(A1)
Why would I get 4 as a result? It is longer than four characters and
numbers.
Thanks.
Robert
