Expanded fonts.
Sample of expanded, go to Word. Select format, fonts, charter spacing tab,
spacing dialog box, select expanded.
Characters are elongated left to right.
I do not see the option in Excel.

Hi Robert,
what do you mean by "expanding fonts"? If it is to change the font size, you
go to Format->Cells->Font then select the size and other characteristics you
want for your font.
If you select a particular character inside the cell text (which you can do
in the formula bar) before going to the Format menu you can format just that
character.
