[mso] Can I make Excel hide rows that contain no data?

Hello all,

Not sure where to start with a question posed by a colleague. In an XL file
containing extensive product data and prices, my colleague is trying to create
a second sheet containing just selected columns from the sheet 1. The purpose
of this second sheet is to display the selected data sorted in a different way.

Without going into lengthy explanations, the Sheet 2 includes a large number of
lines which contain just zeroes because of the way sheet 1 is compiled. Is
there a formula (or a conditional format that can be applied to each of the
Sheet 2 cells (or rows) that will make it ignore the 'target' cell/row on sheet
1 if it contains no data?

I am not sure if I have explained the problem adequately but if anyone can
suggest anything I shall be most grateful.

BTW, someone suggested a Pivot table would resolve this but I have never done
anything with these!

Thanks, Roger
