I am running Adobe Professional 7.0.7. I've tried creating the hyperlinks and converting to PDF and I've had someone else try, in case it was a problem on my computer. The problem is that when I attach a hyperlink to a shape in an organization chart or the the text in the organization chart, when I convert to PDF, there are no hyperlinks. I've checked my settings, and add links to adobe PDF is checked. The hyperlink converts properly if I hyperlink to plain text only. =20 It seems to be related to Powerpoint, since I can attach a hyperlink to a shape in Word and convert to pdf and the hyperlink converts with the document. I have Powerpoint 2003 with SP2.=20 I could get around it if I could figure out how to remove the underlines from the hyperlinks in Powerpoint, but I can't find any way to do that either. The Adobe Reader 7.0.5 is installed on all the user's computers. I had someone with just the reader check, they do not have any hyperlinks. Kathy, are you saying that when you create a hyperlink in PowerPoint, to a shape or the text in a shape, the hyperlink works? =20 Between this problem and the even stranger problem if I try and convert it to Flashpaper, I think I'm losing my mind. But I thank everyone for their help. It helps knowing I'm not alone. I haven't been able to re-create Christine's problem, but I am running Acrobat 7... Maybe it is fixed in this version. (I hadn't posted this, as I was hoping the older CDs would show up and I could test on one of the older versions. Unfortunately, the CDs are somewhere, but not here in the apartment - or not where I can find them anyway :) ) Kathryn Jacobs, Microsoft MVP PowerPoint and OneNote Author of Kathy Jacobs on PowerPoint - Available now from Holy Macro! The Adobe Reader underwent significant improvement in the version 7 update. Among other enhancements, both URL hyperlinks and mailto links work more reliably in version 7. Upgrading your Reader may solve your problems.
