Roger,

It's not immediately obvious what you mean by 'autonumbering'. Please
describe what the Excel file does in more detail. What aspect is it
which has some sort of automatic numbering, and at what point of running
is an number allocated, for instance?

Ray Blake

Subject: [mso] Autonumbering in Excell

Hi,
After upgrading from Windows98SE/Office97 to WinXP/OfficeXP an Excel
document in regular use (which had been autonumbered) is no longer
giving the option to autonumber!
The person who created the document has left the company and we are at a
loss to know how to reinstate this function.
I hope someone can assist, Thanks in advance,
Roger
