[mso] Autonumbering in Excell

Hi,
After upgrading from Windows98SE/Office97 to WinXP/OfficeXP an Excel document
in regular use (which had been autonumbered) is no longer giving the option to
autonumber!
The person who created the document has left the company and we are at a loss
to know how to reinstate this function.
