Gosh, thank you all so much. Conveniently, two donors sent donations
this morning so I could test my queries. I did one code change, and
need one more, but here's the really cool thing:
When I went into word and opened the mail merge letter that I sent out
yesterday--using my thank you query as the data source--it already had
today's donors in there! Zip zap I saved a ton of time! Woo Hoo! Now
I'll just write a new thank you letter each month and send it out within
24 hours of getting the donation. Thanks a lot. This sort of treatment
of donors encourages continued support. I've finally got the technical
capacity in line to meet that 24-48 hour goal I've had for 6 months.
