Dian, You have a couple of options to accomplish what you want. The first option is to simply concatenate your fields in the source for your drop down. Then they will be displayed each time. This works but is probably not the best option in your case. The second option, and mush more sound with what you are doing, is to add an additional field on your new table to list the price at the time of sale. Then when you make your selection in the combo box, you use an after update event to update that field with current data. This will allow you to view both the product name and the price when the sale was made. Hopefully this gets you going on the right track. If not, try to guide me more in the direction of what you are thinking and I will do my best to try to get you there. Pls realize that part of the problem is that I don't know what the problem is here! So if there's more info that would help, please let me know (Ray...or anyone who knows the Access GUI better than *I* do!) Again, the problem here is that I can easily join up and pull whatever data I need to display in a Word form or ASP page, but trying to demo the relationships through the tables to explain this process to someone is making me nuts. And it's something I need to do/understand...so I can explain it to others. TIA... http://www.mousetrax.com/dian/access.htm Dian D.
