(In another different DB then my previous 2 postings) I have a DB that will only open as a read only... It says that somebody else has it opened exclusively and nobody else has it opened at all.... It is saved on a server that crashed on day while somebody had the DB opened... they fixed the server problem, but can no longer get into this DB..... In excel I could copy and paste all the info into a new spreadsheet and make it read/write able.... How can I recover this DB to a read/write able status.... James, is this why you say to split the DB??
