Dunno about curing it Robert... was just thinking about saving the
typed in data. By importing to another format... I'm assuming that you
mean Excel or something. If you do that then maybe there's something
in the data that shows up as being bogus that's causing the problem.

I've never seen this problem before. My experience is that if I just
close the access database then the data is saved in the table.

After Exporting... I'd start deleting records one by one.. 50 isn't
going to take too long.. and see if I hit a spot where the table is
saved well.

Open the db, import your data, delete rec 1, Close and see what
happens. Then rec 2 etc.
Next I'd start deleting records from the end... Open the db, import,
delete last rec, close etc.. Open the db, import, delete last 2 recs,
etc. DO keep a record of what happens though. Don't trust your memory!

I'm sure you will get to a point where you are able to open to a good
saved db.

Another thing... if you create another table with a couple of fields
in the db and stick a few records in it.. just small dummy ones.. does
that table come up empty as well?
