A couple of ideas:
1) Do you have more than one master in the presentation? If so, does the
problem get better if you put the master causing the problem first in the
list of masters?
2) Check your AutoCorrect Options and see if the last three boxes are
checked on the "AutoFormat As You Type" tab. In this case, you are really
interested in the autofit title text and autofit body text boxes. If they
are checked, uncheck them and see if that helps.

version of PPT you use.

Subject: [mso] A power point problem

I have been working on a presentation for a couple of weeks now and I have
run into an annoying problem. It used to be when I changed the font size,
face, or color on the master slide it affected all the slides. Now it does
not. All my the text in my first level was at 24 pitch but somehow it
changed to 20. I checked the master slide and it still says 24. I changed
the master to 28 and the text changed to 24 so there is a difference of 4
between what is on the master and what is on the actual slides. I can't for
the life of me understand how or why that happened. Does anyone have any
clue?
