BlankI love some of the names in this obit; they sound like they had Southern 
backgrounds.

Obituary

Ora "Maxine" Jackson Ora "Maxine" Jackson Ora "Maxine" Jackson, age 92, entered 
into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Maxine was born on June 8, 1921. 
She was a long time member of Robinson Memorial Church of God in Christ. She 
was preceded in death by her husband George Jackson, sons, Curtis Eugene 
Jackson, Shamsid-Deen and Milton Jackson; and daughter Johnnie Mae Beasley; 3 
grandchildren, parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She leaves to cherish her 
memory sons, Ellihue (Alma), Robert (Shelley), Wilbert (Karen), James and 
Jerome Jackson; daughters, Queen Esther (Ronald) Perteet, Geneva (Rick) 
Hawthorne, and Dolores (Rick) Smith. Thirty-two grandchildren, sixty-seven 
great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren; sister, Alma Jean 
Woods of East St. Louis, Illinois. Family hour will be held at 11:00 a.m. 
followed by a Home Going Celebration at 11:30 a.m., Monday, March 10, 2014 at 
Tabernacle of David Worship Center, 2645 W. Holmes Rd. Family serviced by
