Jackson's Mother Obituary Ora "Maxine" Jackson Ora "Maxine" Jackson Ora "Maxine" Jackson, age 92, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Maxine was born on June 8, 1921. She was a long time member of Robinson Memorial Church of God in Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband George Jackson, sons, Curtis Eugene Jackson, Shamsid-Deen and Milton Jackson; and daughter Johnnie Mae Beasley; 3 grandchildren, parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Ellihue (Alma), Robert (Shelley), Wilbert (Karen), James and Jerome Jackson; daughters, Queen Esther (Ronald) Perteet, Geneva (Rick) Hawthorne, and Dolores (Rick) Smith. Thirty-two grandchildren, sixty-seven great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren; sister, Alma Jean Woods of East St. Louis, Illinois.
