I have resisted weighing in on this topic, however I think it is now time. It
seems to me that in this day of email and Facebook and Twitter it becomes real
easy for us to take pot shots at other people. I doubt if most of us would say
the same things to their face as we might say to them on a listserv or behind
their back, that they don't even read. It doesn't hurt to be civil. Let's face
it the guy does things differently than you or I might do them, but it doesn't
mean he's a bad person and it doesn't mean he isn't capable it just means he
does things differently than we do so that's applaud him for his efforts
because after all he did make it to the Supreme Court and he is blind and in
years past that might not have been something that would have been possible but
thanks to the efforts of you and I am thousands of other blind people, it is so
thank you Richard Bernstein no matter how you get things done you're there
you're blind and it's a great thing.
