I agree, texting just isn't the same.
Sorry you didn't have a very merry Christmas Vicky.
Original message:
Well, I was surprised to see so many Christmas posts. Since I didn’t have the computer on, I missed sending my best wishes for a safe and Merry Christmas. so, now I’ll be on time to send the happy new year wishes. Here’s hoping this next year is a much better one. we’ve lost so many MSB friends this year. Christmas was kind of quiet around here. I spoke with tony over the phone Christmas Eve, but text messages supplied the merry Christmas wishes around our family Christmas day. It was kind of depressing really, not talking to the kids and grand kids personally. About 8 in the evening though I caught my husband calling our oldest son, who is usually the hardest to get in touch with as he has been working nights. so we did get to talk to him. But the rest never called. So, technology has taken over the actual speaking to family even on the holidays. Yuck! Seems like they could have called. anyway, Duane and I shared a nice day. He gave me two jewelry sets. One was opal, my birthstone, ear rings and necklace, and the second one, is turquoise, ear rings, necklace and bracelet. I wore the turquoise yesterday. I bought him two long sleeved shirts today. We’re saving money to fix the air conditioning unit in our truck. It’ll cost around $1,000 to fix. I’ve got about half of it already, so Christmas was a little short for the kids, but I did manage to give them all some money in their bank accounts. anyway, hope all was well with your christmases and I’ll try not to wait so long to post. We’ve been watching Christmas movies, and we had a t-bone steak dinner with lots of other stuff, for christmas. got to diet though, to feel better. Oh, and it’s going to get to the freezing temps over the next few days. Our winter, here in Arizona. Take care all. I’ll shut up now.

May God bless you now, and evermore!
