You'll find materials on Reconciliation, an Examination of Conscience and
even a Credit Card to Heaven. Lenten regulations are there too, along with
a complete schedule of Services and Activities. Be sure to visit our
ON-LINE STATIONS OF THE CROSS. I've written them for children and adults
alike. They've been newly illustrated this year by the 4th Graders at our
own Saint Patrick's School and are available in English and Spanish as well.

"Do not adorn yourselves outwardly by braiding your hair, and by wearing
gold ornaments or fine clothing; rather, let your adornment be the inner
self with the lasting beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very
precious in God's sight." ~1 Peter 3:3-4

It seems as though, when God wants to express to us what God is like, God
makes a very beautiful character. We can think of a personality as God's
expression of character attributes. We can try to be as fit an expression
of Godlike character as we can. When the beauty of a person's character is
impressed upon us, it can leave an image which in turn can reflect through
our own actions. Se we can look for beauty of character in those around us.

I pray that I may look at great souls until their beauty of character
becomes a part of my own self. I pray that I may reflect this character in
my own life.

Debbie asks prayers for a special intention. Leslie requests prayers for her
brother-in-law, who is undergoing back surgery - and for all who suffer from
pain in any form: physical, psychological, emotional. Please pray for Brad,
suffering with recovery, job and family issues.

Family members request prayers for Marge who will be undergoing tests for
lung cancer. Dianne requests prayers for her sister who's husband is still
missing. Frieda asks prayers for a special intention. Helen-Ann asks prayers
for a special intention. Jim F. offers thankful praises to Jesus and Mary
for answering his prayers.

We pray for unity in our country and that we may build a Culture of Life. We
pray for the safety of our troops, their safe return and their families at
home. We pray for a deep and profound respect for life, and for the courage
and willingness to stand up for life. We pray for one another, for those who
have asked our prayers and for those who need our prayers the most. Have a
good day!

May God Bless you and those you love, and keep you safe!

Father Pat
