I got our IT support person on the phone this morning and had him compare
the speed that MT loads on my desktop and laptop. My systems both use the
same antivirus. One takes two seconds. The other takes from 12 to 14, and
the desktop that takes longer is by far the faster computer.
He is unwilling to disable the antivirus given both machines run the same.
He wonders if the uninstall and reinstall I did was enough. I used the
add/remove programs, and the APH directory was removed from the program
files directory. I then used the most recent download from APH to reinstall.
I assume there is nothing more I should have done to refresh this?
