[moneytalks] Purpose of the Bank Grid

I just discovered Money Talks through the APH beta section of the web site.
I downloaded the product and liked it's performance so much that I purchased
the CD version today.
I have one question. I'm not sure what the purpose of the bank grid is. When
I tab to get from the register to the grid, I hear a beep. How do you know
when you are in the bank grid? What is it's purpose?
