David: Have you seen the program? If not, I recommend downloading the demo from: www.aph.org/tech There is really nothing mysterious or limiting about the way Money Talks works with files. Its a standard Windows MDI application. An account is just a file with a .mtf extension, so files can be saved anywhere you can read/write any other file. I would avoid accessing the account from a server though, since Money Talks does not support file sharing, and doesn't lock/hold a reference on the open account file. Files are not available to other Windows accounts, unless you put them in a place where all users can access them. By default, they are stored in %userprofile%\My Documents\Money Talks. Rob >>> mdedick@xxxxxxxxx 12/20/07 01:53PM >>> Sond good. Now for clarification, can you store the moneytalks file on any network location, including a third computer? This would be great if you use one computer as a peer server for shared files and other programs that allow the server client configuration without being a genuine server solution. Also, to APH, are there any plans to make this option more easily set up so that more than one person can have the file open? With families having more than one computer in the house, and windows home server being available from Microsoft, this idea is going to be in a greater demand than it was a few years ago. Thanks again for the help,/ David -----Original Message----- From: moneytalks-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:moneytalks-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Gary Wunder Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2007 10:43 AM To: moneytalks@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [moneytalks] Re: Home network version of money talks?
