Hello everyone
Yesterday was the 3rd of September 2009. This reminded me of a birthday
party 70 years ago. I was enjoying celebrating a school-friend's 12th
birhday, when on the wireless (as it was in those days)
we heard the dire news that Britain was at war with Germany.
Even at that tender age, we wondered what this presaged. Little did we know!
