Hello,
My name is Peter Beevers, I live inside the M25, UK. My interest is in
7.25" gauge railways. My equipment can be viewed on my website:
www.beevers.org.uk[1] and follow the miniature railways link, but I will
summarize here. My focus is in passenger carrying rather than strictly scale
modelling.
I have bodied 2 coaches on Roanoke chassis, designed and built a 5HP
ride-on petrol hydraulic locomotive (loosely based on a slope-sided 2' gauge
Ruston), built one of Alan Westby's 4 wheel railcars (great fun and SO
simpleto build!!), and am currently building a 'real' locomotive (4" scale
alice-class Hunslet, Milner design).
I freely admit to having very limited workshop skills - but I can (and
have) built simple, effective passenger haulers. And 000's of local kids at
school fete's etc. will testify to that.....
