Isnt the boiler steel?

If so, he will have to have it made to get insurance. (Bell Boilers seem to 
be one of the better suppliers.)
(Unless he is a qualified welder.)

If it is copper (my memory might be at fault) then he should join a local 
club and get their boiler inspectors to check it at various stages of 
construction. This will enable them to issue a boiler certificate when it is 
completed, and with that, he can run at his, plus any other club event.


Of course, is he has already done all that, ignore this post !

I am posting this for my farther who is in the process of getting together 
the castings and materials he all ready has the drawings from Plastow and 
the boiler material from Reeves he was wondering if any one has any surplus 
castings or info relating to the build.
