That's called the meter or time signature.
On the pattern record setup screen, you go up once, then left twice. I don't
know where it is on the song record setup screen, or the order that the options
appear in that control. That's one of the areas that I haven't reached yet.
Most of what I do is typically in 4/4 or 6/8.
