hmmm, I used a dynamic also, and it worked fine. there is a setting under
the f2 menu from utility that you need to tweak. maybe try f2 sf1 or sf2,
there are only 2 settings there you will hear the difference.

It's hooked up in the mic jack closest to the preamp knob. I had Driza
helping me out, but we can't get it to work. We turned up the mic volume
and everything. Could it be caused by bad memory or something? I don't
know. I have a Shure SM58 dynamic mic.

Okay, I looked again but can't seem to find anything that can resolve my
problem. Any more suggestions? I may be out of luck, lol.

did you check the utility f2 settings?

Check the reference guide for exactly where it is. I no longer have an ES so
I kind of forgot. lol

Hope that helps though. There are 2 settings, one for line level stuff, and
one for mic.

That should get you where you need to be.

Subject: [MoAccess] Sampling on the ES

Hey guys

I am trying to record some vocals on my motif ES. Everything is working
okay but when the vocals are recorded, they are really low in volume
compared to the beat. I go to the pattern edit screen and turn up the midi
event once it is recorded and I also use the slider to turn up the volume
but it still is considerably low when compared to the music. Does anyone
know what could be causing this issue? Is there something else I should do?
I also have the preamp knob turned to the highest point and I still get
these results. Any help is appreciated, thanks a lot.
