Actually, since this is a Firewire connection, you'd use a Firewire hub.
However, Yamaha does not suggest that you use a hub to connect an mLAN
device. Many devices don't behave in a stable way if you use a hub. The
Motif is obviously one of these.

First of all. That's a firewire connection you are talking about. You
are think of ethernet. And to that, the answer is yes. How ever, I do
believe that it requires sighted assistance.
