to turn local mode off on the motif es, 1. press utility button 2. press the
f5 button 3. press the sf2 button 4. arrow to the top left of screen, then
press the right arrow button 1 time, this will place you on local setting, it's
on by default, to turn it off press the decrease button then just go back to
your song or pattern mode and make sure you are on a blank song or pattern!
