Go to YamahaSynth.com. Download the Yamaha Universal MIDI driver. Install it.
Plug a USB cable into the Motif and the other end into your computer. On the
Motif, go to utility mode, press F5, for MIDI settings, go to the setting for
the input terminals, and switch that to USB. Press store.

HI, guys:
My midi cables have just become damaged. I was thinking of switching to using
the USB capability of the motif es8, and forgo midi totally.
Can one provide me with some guidance on how to achieve this, please?
