WebSurfing - Advertise Your Lists
Promote your lists at "WebSurfing". Each list may be advertised
once a week. (list owners with more than 6 lists - post every two
weeks.) Only list owners may post, but anyone may join to find
lists. Please include the mainpage URL of your group in each
post. The subject line should include only the name of your list.
Advertise lists only at this time. (Internet-based businesses -
you must be advertising a *list* that goes along with the
business, rather than the business web site. You may list the
business web site but it must be secondary to the list's URL.)
Secular (non-religious) lists are welcome to post as long as they
are safe for anyone to read, and I am looking for more Christian
list owners to post here.
The following ads will not be accepted:
1. web sites without an accompanying discussion or announce
list at a known list host (such as Yahoo, Topica, Smartgroups,
etc.)
2. get-rich-quick plans (including those set up as announce
lists)
3. adult-category lists (including dating services)
4. religious lists (other than Christian & Jewish lists)
[I am from a broadcasting and advertising background, & I want to
help you have the best ad possible. WebSurfing now has public
archives so that the internet-wide search engines will pick up
your ad. Therefore, it does not matter to me if you are on "no
mail" mode on this list. In fact, I recommend it! We are not
posting our ads for 400 other members to see, but for *anyone*
out on the net. Let's think big!]
