Hello MS Birders,
Surprised by a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak at a feeder in my Starkville
yard his afternoon.
Also, I had a Lark Sparrow on the MSU North Farm, a Green Heron at the
Noxubee NWR Goose Overlook, and a bunch of Prairie Warblers in the short
pines along Brooksville-Louisville Road just beyond the Morgan Hill prairie
(as one drives from the Noxubee refuge to Brookesville).
I also have lingering Pine Siskins and American Goldfinch alternating
between tree buds and my feeders.
