I came through there last Thursday and noticed at least 7 redhead drakes with a
big flock of ring-necked ducks, about 4 bufflehead and a few shovelers on the
pond just north of the observation tower but on the Panola county side of the
gravel road.

There is a large concentration of Ducks and Geese on the Coldwater Refuge. You
can park under a shed near a three story observation tower. The tower is
handicapped accessible.
