Hello Dong, The assignment of reads to debris or singlets and whether or not they are put into the final result is messy, the statistics numbers about this sometimes even wrong. It seems that people doing mostly genome assemblies don't care about these numbers and people doing EST assemblies care a lot and I've gotten increasing reports about this. It's a part which has been neglected in development and was overrun by changes in other parts of the algorithms, it needs to be redone. E.g. and if memory serves right, reads that fall out during pre-processing (clipping etc.) are not even accounted for in debris. This whole thing os on the rehaul list for the 3.1 development.
