You did not specify which version of MIRA and which command you used. I'm
guessing here: 3.2.1 and a denovo job?
This would be outside the recommended specification for MIRA 3.2.1, see

Have a look at the latest development release (3.2.1.9) on SourceForge ... that
one will bring a first relief. The next
development version (due sometime in the next week) will improve disk
utilisation even further.
