Would a
"wc -l *_info_debrislist.txt"
not be easier?

Hello, again.

Just a little question about numbers.

1. When MIRA show the ‘Mira_reads Assembled’ in the _info_assembly.txt
file.

For paired end, is this out of a total of all forward.fastq + reverse.fastq
reads, or an average of the two, or is this calculated in another way?

2. If the number of singlets are also counted (are these inclusive to
the reads assembles number or exclusive)?

Basically I am trying to find out, from the total forward.fastq +
Reverse.fastq what % of reads were assembled by Mira.

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Dale
