Hi Marie, you have to find the text you want to select, then press vo enter to start selection, then vo down arrow until you get to the last bit of text you want to select, then press vo enter to stop selecting text, and then you can copy it with command c, or what ever you wish to do regarding the selected text. This is because both safari and mail don't have a cursor, but there is the voice over cursor. Hope this helps. On Mar 5, 2009, at 10:43 AM, Marie Howarth wrote:HiI've been using a mac with voice over for almost five months now. Although I am very happy with it, I was wondering, is there any way to select specific text within safari. The key strokes don't work that I use in text edit to select text in order to copy and paste to another locationany help would be appreciated. thanks MarieClick on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.comManage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below.//www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxwith 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Webinterface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceoverClick on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.comManage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below.//www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxwith 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Webinterface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover
