Hello Marcy and all:

I am glad you have got things up and running on this particular topic.

No worries ... you can just send me a gift certificate to subway ... they have the cookies (wink).

I know you are a woman of your word because ... well ... say it with me now

You rock (grin).

Happy group making and be well.

Hi, Patrick!
I followed your directions in the rewrite to, well, pardon the expression grin, the letter! I also realized that at first, I can go to the names table of the group all as in all names, and just begin arrowing down. At that point I press vo-shift-f3 and hear, cursor tracking off. Then, I need to interact to make it possible to keep vo pressed as I arrow down the list. When I'm done selecting, I hit command-c, then I press vo-shift-3 again to turn cursor tracking back on and proceed right along!
Soon as I can send along those cookies by email, they are yourssmile!
Okay, you can send me another address, and I will send them. I'm a woman of my word grin! Thanks so so so much again! Marcy

Hello Marcy and all:

Glad it worked (smile). Was there something in the rewrite which helped? Or, did you just attempt to ignore the directions and wing it (smile).

Macadamia and white chocolate chip are my favorite (grin). If that is too exotic, double chocolate chip will do just fine (grin).

Whether we get the cookies or not ... one thing is certain ... you guessed it

You rock!!!

Hi, Patrick!
Your cookies are back! What kind did you say you wanted? Bigger, wider grin! Thank you so, so, so much! Marcy

Hello Marcy and all:

I am sending this out to make sure that the directions are a tad clearer. Let me know if the modifications made are a tad better to avoid confusion.

Confusion is bad (grin).

1. Enter addressbook.

2. Move to your list of contacts.

3. Press VO shift + f3. You should hear cursor tracking off.

4. To highlight the names you want press vo command spacebar. to move down the list press and hold VO + down arrow. When you get to another name you wish to highlight release the arrow key and press vo command + spacebar.

5. When you are done with all of the names you wish to highlight press command C to copy.

6. Press VO shift + f3 to turn cursor tracking back on.

7. Move to where you wish to place the names and press command v.

Note, if you wish to see how many names have been highlighted you can use vo + f6 anywhere in the process. and, if you want to check to see if the name you wish to highlight is under the mouse cursor you may use vo + f5 to check. If the name you want to highlight is not under the cursor you may move it there by using vo command + f5.

Let me know if those are clearer both for you and thereby for others.

Hi, Patrick,
You're not gonna like this... It didn't work. All it does is put in the last contact I select. I tried it twice, making sure I followed your directions to the letter, and number smile. But, alas, it just didn't fly. Think it's a bug? I really appreciate directions like you just gave, though! You certainly deserve the cookie for your effort grin! What kind is your favorite? Oh, yes, if anyone else tries this and it works, please let us all know!
Cookie, cookie, cookie starts with c! Guess I'm in trouble... Marcy

Attempting to get in quickly on the cookie offer (wink). My address is: *****

Have you given the turning off cursor tracking option a shot? If not, you might want to give that a shot. If you have tried it and it did not work, please write back quickly. Do not wish to miss the cookie (smile).

1. Enter addressbook.

2. Move to your list of contacts.

3. Press VO shift + f3. You should hear cursor tracking off.

4. To highlight the names you want press vo command spacebar. to move down the list press VO + down arrow. When you get to another name you wish to highlight press vo command + spacebar.

6. Press VO shift + f3 to turn cursor tracking back on.

7. Move to where you wish to place the names and press command v.

Let us know if that works.

C is for cookie and that's good enough for me (grin). If you know that reference you are in trouble.

Hello, everybody!
Okay, here it is... I mentionned that I don't kno how to select names in my contact list that aren't sequential. well, it would save me a whole bunch of time if I knew how to do that! So, can anybody help me with this? I'd be really grateful and appreciative! I'll even send you a cookie! Thanks! Marcy
