don't do it through safari, press command-k and type ftp://

i would but, when i do it through safari, I can't go past the log in
stuff. I get the message saying something about data not able to be
read or written from te server but, i can sort of get it in other
browsers. should i turn on file sharing for this to work? Thanks for
