Hi
Firstly, I am new to the group and would like some help. I
am also new to I devices.

Ok I now have my new ipad mini, I am completely stuck, I
have it set up with my bluetooth keyboard, I am not sure how
I get apps for it, I specifically would like one for skype,
facebook and radio, also one for writing. Mum had to help me
set-up the keyboard as all the codes were in the leaflets.
What do I do next? I have had a brief look at the applevis
site, there are loads but for now I want to concentrate on
getting important things set-up. Can someone please direct
me? I have had a look at itunes and have registered but
don't know how to proceed. I have also up-dated the firmware
on the ipad because when I got it yesterday, itunes told me
there was an up-date and suggested I up-date. I thought I
may as well get it out the way. One other thing, when I load
voice over, my screen goes blank, it loads screen curton but
if mum needs to help me, she is new to the I devices too, we
have to turn off voice over, I am unable to hear what she is
doing so cannot learn. Is there a way around this?

Regards

Adrien
