There is a restore button in the settings/summary of the Ipod. If
you hit it it will ask you something like do you want to erase the
Ipod and start over. That's what you'd do if you wanted to use an
Ipod formatted for windows use with a system using the apple
os. It's been a while since I've done this but it all starts with
the restore button.
