[macvoiceover] criterian for re-directing messages in mail

Hi all, since my lists and groups are on my other machine, I re-direct the ones I want to send to my other account, with command shift e, but this one message, mail wouldn't let me re-direct, it kept saying, that there was no server, and to try another server, so I ended up forwarding the message, and the message was written to undisclosed recipient, so, does anybody know what criterian mail uses to determine whether or not a message can, or cannot be re-directed, and thanks in advance for any assistance.
