[macvoiceover] Re: converting pdf to text a mac solution?

Accually there are ways to do this.
1. Obtain a copy of Acrobat Professional it has an OCR option in it. So you tell it to OCR the document and then export the document as a text file. Acrobat Professional is not the most VoiceOver friendly application there ever was but these functions are reached by the menus so it should work OK.
2. Print out the document and then use a scanner and ORC program to generate a text file from the scans. Alternately some ORC programs can read PDF files directly.

I see a lot of tools for windows for converting pdf to other formats.
If I have a pdf that is not text but is an image of text, how can I read it 
on the mac?
