Yes that does, thank you so very much. How do I empty the trash? Heheheh, I
haven't even found out where that is yet, smile.

Oh and is there a simple way to get to my documents? I'm a bit confused on
that part. I know how to find it, but the way I do it gets me all confused and
I can never remember all the steps I did to locate it again.

  to delete a file:
  1. Select the file you want to move to the trash.
  2. Press cmd+backspace.
  3. Empty your trash.

  to make a new folder:
  1. Go to the place you want the folder.
  2. Press cmd+shift+N to make new folder.
  3. Type the folder name.
  4. Press enter and the folder should be created.

Note that pressing enter on a folder let's you rename it.

    Hi everyone.

Can someone please tell me how I go about creating folders on my mac? I
want to move all my school stuff to my mac machine but can't figure out how to
make folders and for that matter where they are, smile.

Also, how do I delete a file I created? I tried pressing delete on the
file but it doesn't do anything, thanks.
