Hi, Dan,
I have a brand new macbook aluminum and I updated it after I got it,
perhaps a week or two later. And I'm not able to save mail. Marcy

Hi Dave,
I'll have to do a little more checking on my machines.
Are you saying that it works fine on the latest release of Leopard
updates? Or am I misunderstanding you.
For example, I have an older Mac mini PPC machine purchased in
September 2005. We also have an iMac purchased in April of last
year. My son also has a MacBook purchased in June of last year. And
my wife has a Mac mini purchased in August, last year.
All of these machines have the latest updates.

yuck, we need to figure out what the difference between your
computer and others who are having this issue are. I know of one
brand new macbook having this issue and I'm having the issue on one
of the first macbooks ever made. I don't use the preview payne and
my message composition is set to plain text.

Hi all,
I'm putting this here incase someone else thinks they are going
crazy like I was.
It seems as though the latest updates have put a bug in mail. it
is not possible to use save as in mail under leopard latest. I've
done this before and can do it if I don't have the latest leopard
installed though so this is a bug.
If someone succeeds in figuring this out, that would be good. In
the meantime, this is a good use of the feedback item in the mail
menu.
Before you ask, using safari 4 does not make a difference.
Let me know if your experience differs please?
