[macvoiceover] adjusting cards in addressbook

Hi all,
about the addressbook: voiceover is not showing or speaking while typing data
in e.g. the phone field.
I pressed command+l , to modify a selected card and, while typing in the
phone-field, I could only see the result after typing and moving the vo-cursor
left and right or right and left :)
Is this normal?
