[macvoiceover] Viewing contacts on the Mac

Hi list. I don't know if it's me or if it's the Mac OS software. When I open
the contacts app, I can see all of my contacts. I can't seem to view any of the
contacts data unless I choose the edit button. Is there not a way to view
contact info without selecting the edit option? I am using a Macbook pro, and
an Imac. Both running Mountain Lion and the latest update. Thanks
