That's because it is saying unknown album. If you vo+space on artist you will hear the author's name and the number of files. It is looking at the folder names and with audiobooks the folders seem to be unknown album.

Yep, I can access it, too, but it still tells me all my books are "unknown."But I'm sure I'm missing something. -----Original Message----- From: macvoiceover-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:macvoiceover-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of David Poehlman Sent: Friday, September 12, 2008 10:49 AM To: macvoiceover@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [macvoiceover] Re: VO and ITunes 8.0: HI To both of you.I found out how to read the grid and it's cool. It is an accessible scrollarea with buttons in it like icon view. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ginny" <ginnyo@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <macvoiceover@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, September 12, 2008 10:52 AM Subject: [macvoiceover] Re: VO and ITunes 8.0: Ah, that's probably what changed. This is easier than view as grid for me. It is calling all my audible books except for two "unknown." What's that about? I actually have to start playing each of them to figure out what they are. They were properly titled before. I liked when we just had a big song list, too. Some questions have arrisen about how to navigate libraries so I thought I'd attempt to clear some of them up since I sort of muddied them in the first place. Let's say you have some music you want to browse. With ITunes open, tab to the sources list, down arrow to music, not to the store which should be further down on the list and press tab or use vo with right arrow. you may notice that you have some cryptic message like three albums or something like that. press right arrow and then down arrow if you not using vo with arrows and this should expand and place you in the list. arrow to the one you want, press tab. this might even be further devided into artists but you get the drift. arrow through this list after pressing right arrow to expand it if necessary. as you continue doing this, sooner or later, you come to the songs list. that songs list will contin only the songs for the categories you have chosen in the previous tabs. if you want to see every thing in the library, expand the first tab and then just tab over to songs and they all should be there. There may be, probably are other things that you will need/want to do but that is how it basically works. One note of caution. it can take a little time for a list to populate so tread carefully before thinking all of the stuff you thought had is not there. -- Jonnie Appleseed With His Hands-On Technolog(eye)s Reducing Technologies disabilities one byte at a timeClick on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.com Manage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below. //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceoverClick on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.com Manage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below. //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceoverClick on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.comManage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below.//www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceoverClick on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.comManage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below.//www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceoverClick on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.comManage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below.//www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceoverClick on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.comManage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below.//www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover
