I am using it on a desktop, not an iphone, which you can bring a lot closer to 
your mouth. I don't see why you should require a headset with the iphone.

I know, apples and oranges, ios and osX, phone versus computer. Still,
since I don't much like wearing headsets, I was hoping the headset
